  • Preparing for Public Health emergencies such as a new emerging infection (mass dispensing and vaccinations).

  • Community health programs.

  • Conducting disease prevention activities.

  • Promotion of healthy lifestyles

  • Health education for a better-informed population. 

  • Environmental health inspections.

  • Code Enforcement to ensure safe:

    • Food establishment inspections

    • Barber shops

    • Beauty salons

    • Overnight stay facilities 

    • Drinking water

    • Sanitation

    • Public facilities

    • Waste water disposal systems

    • Public pools

    • Bathing areas

    • Daycare centers

  • Vermin and Vector Control

  • Nuisance complaint investigation

  • Rabies testing
